COMRICE I operated from 2016 to 2019 and COMRICE II is from 2020 - 2023. The COMRICE projects work to increase income and food security through smart agriculture and increase 4,000 farmers participation in the value chain (own businesses) in Kilombero and Mbarali Districts.

FROM WASTE TO LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND VIGOROUS SOIL

The project (2016-2017) contributed to improved smallholder livelihood through rural income generation, rural access to electricity, local business development, and increased rice profitability.

THE WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROJECT (WEE)

Women Economic Empowerment through business incubator and entrepreneurship (WEE) 2015-2017 contributed to combating climate change and reducing poverty in Tanzania. WEE promoted the adoption of briquettes to substitute charcoal among food vendors in Dar es Salaam.

TANZANIA RENEWABLE ENERGY BUSINESS INCUBATOR (TAREBI)

Tanzania Renewable Business Incubator/TAREBI (2014-2016) admitted nascent renewable energy enterprises and nurtures them to stronger organization through a package of services including training, mentoring, coaching, investment support, linkage to markets, finance, networking, etc. The result was enhanced rural access to renewable energy; and establishment of 29 Village Community Banks (VICOBA).

BUILDING RURAL INCOME THROUGH ASSOCIATIONS (BRITA)

BRITA's (2007 - 2015) main objective was to integrate smallholder paddy farmers into a better and relevant value chain & strengthen farmer associations to become viable, sustainable, and gender-sensitive business entities.
